Do I need to buy new cameras?+
In most cases, no. Nexus Guard's AI software connects directly to your existing CCTV system Hikvision, Dahua, and most major brands are fully supported. If your current setup meets the basic requirements, you can be protected without spending anything on new hardware. Not sure if yours qualifies? We'll check for you at no cost.
How long does setup take?+
Most stores are fully live within 48 hours. Once you share camera access, our team configures the AI software, calibrates it to your store layout, and runs a test to confirm alerts and reporting are working. Many clients are active the same day they sign up.
Is the 7 days trial really free?+
Completely. No credit card and no commitment required. During the trial you get full access to real-time theft detection, instant staff alerts, and hourly activity summaries exactly what paying clients experience every day. We want you to see the results before you decide anything.
How Monitoring Works
How does the AI detect suspicious activity?+
The software continuously analyzes your live camera feed and learns what normal activity looks like in your store. When behavior falls outside that pattern lingering in blind spots, concealing items, unusual movement near high value areas it flags it immediately. Unlike traditional CCTV that simply records, this system actively watches and responds in real time.
What happens when a threat is detected?+
Your cashier or front desk receives an instant alert, no need to be glued to a screen. The alert includes the camera location and a description of what was flagged, giving your staff the chance to respond before a loss actually occurs. Speed is everything, and this system is built around that.
How do I stay informed about daily activity?+
The AI generates hourly activity summaries that automatically highlight unusual events, busy periods, and anything worth your attention. You also receive a full daily report each night a clear, readable breakdown of everything that happened without you reviewing a single second of footage yourself.
Privacy & Security
Is my footage stored or shared anywhere?+
No. The AI processes your live feed in real time and does not upload, store, or share raw video footage. Only written event summaries and alert logs are retained. Your footage stays on your own system, under your full control at all times.
Can I remove camera access at any time?+
Yes, instantly. You control the camera credentials, so you can revoke access the moment you choose to pause or end the service. There is no waiting period and no data is retained on our end after you disconnect.
Billing & Plans
Am I locked into a contract?+
Not at all. Every plan is month to month with no lock-in. If the AI delivers real value to your store, you will want to stay that is what we count on. If it does not, you are free to leave without any penalty whatsoever.
Can I switch plans later?+
Yes, anytime. Most clients start on Standard and upgrade to Premium once they see the value of footfall analytics and weekly reporting. Plan changes take effect on your next billing cycle.
Do you support multiple store locations?+
Yes. Each location runs its own AI monitoring instance with separate alerts and daily reports, so you always know exactly what is happening at every store even from across the country. Multi-location pricing is available, just reach out and we will put the right package together for you.
